Cute Mallard Ducklings Learning to Fly! Day 50 Growth Observation #Mallards #Ducklings #BirdWatching
Introduction
I encountered a family of mallard ducks by the river for the first time this year and captured their adorable 모습을 (mosub) on their 50th day in a short video! It's amazing how much the ducklings have grown; by day 50, they are almost the same size as their parents!
Flight Practice in Progress!
The video captures the young mallards diligently practicing their flight. Perhaps their wings are still too short, or they lack sufficient buoyancy… It seems they need about another ten days before they can fly independently. I was particularly struck by their flapping practice at a small weir.
While the mother mallard gracefully flew over the weir with elegant wing movements, the ducklings, while flapping their wings, were more… jumping! It's through this kind of dedicated flapping practice that they will eventually learn to soar freely through the sky. Their earnest efforts are truly heartwarming and make you want to cheer them on.

Growing Up So Fast!
It's hard to believe that just 50 days ago, these little ones were tiny, fluffy balls of down! Their rapid growth is always astonishing. In the video, you can also see them actively moving around – hopping from rock to rock in the river, diving into the water, and searching for food.

Words alone cannot fully convey the endearing sight of the mallard parents and ducklings, and their determined flight practice. Please take a look at the video!
